Common at WWPR-New York’s Power 105.1

2015 GRAMMY nominated artist Common stopped by The Angie Martinez Show, and got deep about how ‘Selma’ relates to what’s happening in our world today.

While Common, John Legend and the rest of the ‘Selma’ family were doing press for the movie, they were in New York City during the ongoing protests.

“Once situations happened with Mike Brown and Eric Garner…it was like, this movie, this story, what’s happening in this time is exactly what we’re seeing,” he told Angie.
