Avery Sisters Entertainment, PR division (East) is thrilled to announce their newest client Bernard Edwards, Jr. better known as the 2x Grammy Winning x Multi Platinum Producer “Focus…”

Focus… is the son of the late Bernard Edwards, co-founder of the Disco/R&B band Chic. He was born in Manhattan, New York, and raised in the Tri-State region. Bernard Edwards, Jr. credits his father with his love for the production side of music, which he developed from an early age, attending numerous studio sessions with his father.

Focus…’s production talents propelled him into a world of producing tracks for some of todays’ hottest music artist and thereafter recognized by Dr.Dre of Aftermath Records. Dr.Dre discovered Focus’ talent when Focus was producing an artist named Daks. Dr.Dre was greatly impressed and signed Focus… Since then, as in-house producer, Focus… has produced tracks for Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé Knowles, 50 Cent, Bishop Lamont, Tony Yayo, Stat Quo, Outlawz, The Game, Jay Rock and is currently working closely with Aftermath recording artist roster among many others.

Aside from his musical productions, this multi-faceted producer has taken his talents beyond the studio and was recently honored as the winner of the ‘A3C’ Celebrity Beat Battle for Adult Swim’s “Battle of the Bump”, where he competed against several platinum producers Cardo, Streetrunner, V12, WLPWR & more for a TV “Bump” placement on the Adult Swim Network.
