Kerry Washington to Portray Anita Hill on HBO

Back in 1991, one of the biggest stories was the confirmation hearings for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Thomas was dogged by allegations by a former aide who claims he sexually harassed her. The story of that scandal is coming to TV soon. And one of the main roles will be played by the actress who currently stars in the TV drama “Scandal.” Kerry Washington will play Anita Hill in the HBO movie, titled “Confirmation.” Washington will also be one of the executive producers. No other word on who will be in the project – or when it will air.
