Elroy Smith To Summit Media Greenville

Elroy Smith is headed to the “upstate” (Greenville, SC) where he has been named Operations Manager for Summit Media stations Variety Hits “97.7 Chuck-FM” W249CB Greenville, CHR “Hot 98.1” WHZT Williamston, Alternative “X98.5” W253BG Arial, and Urban AC “107.3 Jamz” WJMZ-FM Anderson, effective April 1.

Elroy’s Smith radio journey started at Boston’s Emerson College where he gained the attention of his mentor’s B.J. Stone (Sirius XM) and Steve Crumbley (Apex Broadcasting), who Elroy again succeeds in this new position. He previously succeeded Crumbley as PD of WILD early in his career. Elroy went on to successfully program top rated stations in Houston, Chicago and Philadelphia. He can certainly bring the same excellence and infectious engaging spirit to Summit Media.
