Pensado’s Place, the highly acclaimed weekly web series widely recognized as the most influential web show for engineers, mixers and producers, recently presented a free round-table discussion and music event dubbed Pensado’s Capital Jam sponsored by the D.C. chapter of The Recording Academy Producers and Engineers Wing and Studio202DC, at the historic Howard Theater in Washington D.C., to a packed house.

Grammy Award winning, audio authority and master music mix engineer Dave Pensado along with along with trusted, show creator, manager and co-host Herb Trawick moderated a super-sized panel of today’s top producers and engineers including: Ann Mincieli (Alicia Keys, Pharrell Williams, Amazing Spider Man 2); Gavin Lurssen (Alison Krauss, T Bone Burnett); Young Guru (Jay Z, Kanye West); Derek “DJ” Ali (Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q); Kuk Harrell (Rihanna, Beyonce, Shakira); Michael Brauer (Coldplay, Calle 13, John Mayer); and Noah “40” Shebib (Drake, Nas, Sade).
