This endeavor covers the Albany, GA market and serves as the fourth market where Core is operating the Streetz brand joining Atlanta, Charlotte, and Little Rock. Streetz 93.5 may well be a thorn in the side of current market dominator, iHeartMedia’s 96.3 WJIZ, which led the Albany market in the FA ‘14 ratings with a 21.7 share. Core Communicators purchased the Construction Permit for WMRG in the fall of 2013 from Alex Media for a mere $270K.
