New Artist: Milky Wayv

How long has it been since we’ve introduced you to something new? All our readers probably are feeling neglected and forsaken. Indie Buzz/PALM is proud to welcome Houston based R&B collective Milky Wayv to the family. Milky Wayv has the signature sound that we’ve been craving. We’re talking top notch production combined with cool 90s era R&B vocals. Milky Wayv is a whopping 11 member co-ed group. The collective includes the band Ozone, along with singers Tiara Jewel, Bee Honey, Mufasa Enzor, Peyton, and Amaru. In Ozone, on synth and vocals is Michael Vallikappil, on vibes and percussion is Jalen Baker, Adam DeWalt on trumpet,Paolo Castagnoli as drummer, Brandon Willis -on vocals and keys, and last but not least Bobby Earth on vocals, drum machine. Their 2015 mixtape The Best Mixtape You’ve Ever Heard is nothing short of greatness. Make sure you listen to Peyton’s “Verbs” on there. Milky Wayv’s sound bares a striking resemblance to that of Odd Future’s The Internet or Kids These Days. You will not be disappointed once you hear The Best Mixtape You’ve Ever Heard.
