This is it people! The moment we’ve all been waiting for. On Friday October 2nd, South Florida emcee Robb Bank$ released his debut album Year of the Savage. Robb Bank$ has had a pretty decent year so far, realeasing two free EPs touring alongside Pouya and Sir Michael Rocks, and a new tour coming this fall. Year of the Savage is Indie Buzzs/PALM’s most anticipated album of the year, and what a gift it was.

From start to finish Robb Bank$ delivers nothing but fire. It’s not quite as lyrical as his early work on his debut mixtape Calendars, however when it comes to the beats on Year of the Savage are the type to get you amped every time you play the record. There’s production from Bank$’ right hand man NURI along with Zaytoven who produced for Gucci Mane, Migos, and “That Sound” from Robb Bank$ 2013 mixtape Tha City. The hardest songs on Year of the Savage are “Half Bae” featuring Pouya, “Wit,” and “Chainswang” just to name a few.

Overall, Robb Bank$ is perhaps one of the most underrated rap artists out right now. It’s only right that Year of the Savage comes in at 4.5/5 flies/palms. The album is available on iTunes and Spotify.
