We Still Love You Vaughn Harper Kevin Fleming October 29, 2015 Music News 2 “We Still Love You Vaughn Harper” was the surprise event last week at NYC’s Park 112 Restaurant hosted by industry vets Lamont Boles and Kathi Moore. The private mixer re-united industry executives in the northeast with the much beloved former WBLS night personality, the “Velvet Voice”, Vaughn Harper. Vaughn is currently struggling with a number of health issues. “We just wanted Vaughn to know we still love him and appreciate his contribution to radio and our business,” commented Boles. “We need to pay tribute to our icons while they’re still with us.” Notables in attendance included Rodney Shealey, Geo Bivins, Cynthia Johnson, Charles Warfield, Ray Harris, Sharon Heyward, Hilda Williams, Fred Buggs, DJ Red Alert, Michael Johnson and countless others. Thanks to all who contributed to this worthy event. We need to do this more often.
