Speculation was thick from Silicon Valley all the way back to the Marcy after Jay-Z was spotted at Samsung headquarters meeting with senior executuves….would he sell Tidal to Samsung, would he offer to perform CPR on Samsung’s flailing streaming service “Milk Video” (thank nobody cares about) or perhaps Mr. Carter stopped by to pick up a “lil sumn” for one of his clients, namely Rihanna! Miss Pour It Up B.B.H.M.M. just closed on a $25 million deal with Samsung with some assistance from Jay-Z who will pocket a respectable commission. The tech giant has agreed to sponsor Rihanna’s upcoming “Anti” album as well as the accompanying tour. While Jay-Z does co- manage Rihanna word from the curb claims, LeBron James is also reported to be an integral part of the deal since he will be involved in anything in reference to the Anti tour, although the exact role basketball superstar will play has yet to be revealed. Rihanna also serves as creative director and ambassador for Puma. We can more than likely expect a very tech interactive “Anti” tour with a side Pumas.
