New Artist: Jay Marc – THE URBAN BUZZ

Last night a 15-year old emcee from Dallas by the name of Jay Marc hit me up on Instagram, wanting me to check out his music. After listening to a couple tracks on soundcloud, I recognized that at such a young age, Jay Marc is someone who is uniquely talented as a lyricist. With verses over tracks from Frank Ocean, Kanye West, and PartyNextDoor, he really delivers a strong energy that you definitely need to have today in the game. Outside of these songs, he had others with original production, including a beat from Esta. Out of the dozens of tracks on Jay Marc’s soundcloud, I particularly enjoyed “Childish People” and “600.”
