Mariah Carey Directs Holiday TV Movie & Releases Children’s Book

Mariah Carey’s holiday classic, “All I Want For Christmas Is You” has sold over 14 million copies worldwide and the Grammy® winner is transforming the song into a children’s holiday book. The premise of the book is about a little girl who wants a puppy for Christmas.

Carey’s love of the holidays will add the title of director to her resume with the debut of her first television movie, “A Christmas Melody” airing on the Hallmark channel December 19^th. She also co-stars in the film as a grown up mean girl with a hard exterior is softened by the magic of the holidays.  Mariah says being behind the camera is less abusive than being on screen…….to her feet. (Oh Mariah, what in the name of Glitter are you talking about?)

If you are fortunate enough to be on Mariah’s holiday guest list prepare for a visit from Santa complete with real reindeer (ugh, the smell of it all). The book or the movie…..you decide! Perhaps Mariah has found her new calling in life.
