TI to Play a Slave in New “Roots” Mini-Series

T.I. has been signed to play a role in the upcoming “Roots” mini-series. The rapper will be joining Forest Whitaker, Anika Noni Rose, Derek Luke and Mekhi Phifer to play the role of Cyrus, a headstrong slave who’ll be featured prominently in the final episode.
