Queen Latifah and Nicci Gilbert have teamed up to create a new show which follows the life of five women who have fallen from fame. The docu-series titled, “From the Bottom Up,” will reintroduce the women who were once successful until life took a turn for the worse and derailed their careers. The stars in the series are Chrystale Wilson, Sara Stokes, Christine Beatty, Kimberly Smedle and Stacii Jae Johnson. Chrystale Wilson is actress best known for her risque role as the bi-sexual stripper in the movie “The Players Club.” Sara Stokes fame came quickly as she bet out millions of aspiring singer to become a member of Puff Daddy’s Making The Band 2. Christine Beatty served jail time for her role in the scandal surrounding former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick. AndStacii Jae Johnson, was once the event coordinator for Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed but she lost her job after getting arrested for a DUI. “From the Bottom Up” will air on January 6th on Centric.
