Straight Outta Only Oscar Nominee

“Straight Outta Compton” has been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. “SOC” is going up against “Bridge of Spies”, “Ex Machina”, “Inside Out”, and “Spotlight”. There are no other Black nominees for this years awards. Honorable Mention: Sylvester Stallone has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in “Creed”.
