Kris Kelley Found Dead

Radio programming veteran Kris Kelley was found dead in her Philadelphia apartment late last week. The medical examiner determined she choked on food. She was most recently a program director and on-air personality at Clear Channel Chicago.

The life and memory of veteran radio programmer Kris Kelley will be honored tomorrow in her hometown of Philadelphia. Kelley, whose real name is Lavonne R. Battle, died on Saturday, January 16 at the age of 45.
The Home Going Celebration will be held at 11am tomorrow at Sharon Baptist Church, 3955 Conshohocken Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19131. Internment will follow at West Laurel Hill Cemetery, 215 Belmont Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
