Newcomer: Omni Potent

Sometime ago while soundcloud surfing I stumbled upon and a light, flaky, and buttery track from underground hip-hop duo Omni Potent. The song was entitled “Whatever” and was performed by member Frank OG. Omni Potent hails from Auckland Central, New Zealand of all places but comes with a gritty punchline riddled backpack rap style. Shortly after me hearing that song, member T.D. dropped his debut mixtape Old Way$. This was a very solid project which provides a nice perspective of the international hip-hop scene. Think of the duo as if Blu and Curren$y had Australian accents and did a mixtape together.
