Choo Jackson technically isn’t a newcomer since I originally first heard about him three years ago. The Pennsylvania emcee is signed to non-other than Mac Miller’s REMember Music and has a hot new mixtape out called Broken Hearts Make Money. This is a fantastic project from start to finish with only one guest appearance from Mac Miller. The second track “Hydrate” is sort of the lead single and is nothing short of a slapper. Another banger is “Fuego” produced by Big Jerm. You can’t mention this mixtape without highlighting the emotional anthem “Yesterday.” Ever since Wiz Khalifa’s mixtape heyday (2010-ish) I’ve always been intrigued by what music comes out of Pittsburgh, and although  Choo Jackson comes from Chambersburg, PA he’s definitely another name to add to the list.
