Jennifer Drake Joins Sony/ATV

Jennifer Drake has joined Sony/ATV Music Publishing as Senior Director, A&R, based in Los Angeles. She was previously at Universal Music Publishing Group where she worked for the past two years in the role of Creative Director. She will report into Rick Krim, Sony/ATV Co-President, U.S. Before she joined UMPG at the beginning of 2014 she spent three years at ASCAP, initially as Director of Membership in its Rhythm and Soul Department in New York and then in Atlanta overseeing the society’s office there. While at the PRO her signings included Kendrick Lamar, Mike WiLL Made-It, Cris Cab and DJ Drama. She started her industry career as an A&R Coordinator at Warner Bros Records, while also worked as an A&R Administrator at independent Versatile Records. Rick Krim said: “Jennifer will be a fantastic asset to Sony/ATV as her experience of working in not only music publishing, but also for a major label and a PRO, has given her a diverse skill set as well helping her to develop many important relationships across the music industry.”
