New on Soundcloud: Hotel Motel – Pink Lemonade Dylan Fleming April 4, 2016 Uncategorized Appearing in somewhat incognito on soundcloud, Hotel Motel is the collaborative effort of Minnesota rapper Mod Sun and Los Angeles singer/songwriters Blackbear and Gordyland. At just five tracks long with a lone feature from Bobby Raps, this is a project that resonates and leaves you curious for more. Without even knowing that I was already familiar with 2/3 artists involved, I saw a lot of similarities to Blackbear’s previous work. The sound that Hotel Motel brings has a post-MySpace era feel to it. It’s the type of alternative-indie music you’d probably hear walking into Hot Topic.
