CBS Radio Urban WPGC/Washington is excited to welcome back a very familiar name — Steph Lova is joining the Joe Clair Morning Show on Monday, August 15, plugging in alongside morning host Joe Clair and News Director Guy Lambert. Lova famously started her radio career at WPGC-AM (Flava 1580) and went on to do nights across the street on rival WKYS. She later moved to New York City, where she co-hosted mornings on WQHT (Hot 97) and afternoon drive at WWPR (Power 105.1).
Ms. Lova also served as a field reporter on BET’s Rap City, MTV2’s Hip-Hop & Soul and was a guest-judge on BET’s 106 & Park Countdown. Lova has also done extensive voiceover work and she’s been a sideline reporter covering the New York Knicks, Giants and Jets games on PureSportsNY.com.
“We are excited to have Steph back in the WPGC family,” said Steve Davis, VP of Programming for CBS Radio Washington and PD of WPGC. “Steph is no stranger to DC being a Howard graduate and working in DC for many years. Steph is the perfect fit with Joe!” Lova stated, “I’m more than ecstatic to be back home at WPGC 95.5! I absolutely love the DMV and it feels amazing to be back on air with Joe Clair. I can’t wait to get started!” Lova replaces Tati, who, along with former WPGC morning co-host Pablo Sato, is now doing mornings at iHeartMedia Rhythmic KSSX (Jam’n 95.7)/San Diego.
