Here Comes The Core… DJ’s

As the largest DJ coalition in the world, the Core DJs Worldwide is the premier group with a membership of over 500 of the nation’s most influential DJ’s and international DJ Talent totaling nearly 3,000. Their purpose is to empower and educate the core of the music industry—the DJs. The tradition continues as they celebrate their 9^th anniversary in Atlanta with MixShowLIVE. The Core DJs have also opened the door to other DJ organizations from around the globe to participate with their own events within MixShow LIVE.

This DJ/Artist/Label confab will be held Aug 9th-12th, 2013 at Atlanta’s W Hotel (Midtown) with a schedule of events reminiscent of Impact, Urban Network or the original Jack the Rapper conference. A few highlight events guaranteed to be SRO:  Friday’s “Power Programmers Power Panel” will gather mainstream radio’s “who’s who” such as Reggie Rouse, Derrick Baker, Reggie Hawkins, Deon Cole, Hurricane Dave Smith and more. Showcases and Listening suites hosted by G-Unit Records (yes, 50 Cent will host), Epic Records and Interscope Records are sure to introduce the next group of superstar talent. The Core DJ’s MixShowLIVE highlight is Sunday night’s R&B Legends concert featuring Cameo, Tony Toni Tone, Con Funk Shun and more hosted by Full Force (get busy one time) that will surely serve as a teachable moment for new jack turntable masters.
