Kathy Brown Named PD of Cumulus’ WWWZ/WMGL-Charleston Kevin Fleming March 13, 2017 Radio Buzz, Radio News Kathy Brown joins Cumulus Media as PD for WWWZ and WMGL-Charleston. Brown joins from iHeartMedia/St. Louis, where she was PD of KMJM and KATZ-A. She was previously APD at CBS Radio WVEE/Atlanta. OM Bill West said, “Kathy is a pro and I’ve already been inspired by hearing her ideas for our brands here in Charleston.” Brown said, “I am very excited to join the Cumulus team in Charleston and embrace the programming direction from VP Ken Johnson. Charleston is full of great tradition and heritage and I am looking forward to making great radio history! What a wonderful opportunity to continue to grow and learn and give back to the community.” Brown replaces Terry Base who exited in January. Related
