Rihanna Sets Her Sights on Acting

Rihanna has set her sights on the world of acting. According to published reports, the 29-year old pop icon has landed a starring role opposite Adam Driver in the upcoming Amazon musical Annette.

The film will reportedly start shooting this spring and is the brainchild of French writer/director Leos Carax, who’s probably best known for his cult classics Boy Meets Girl, Holy Motors, and Lovers on the Bridge.

In addition to Annette, Rihanna is also set to appear in the upcoming films Valerian and Ocean’s Eight. She’ll also be portraying Marion Crane on this season of A&E’s hit drama Bates Motel.
