Ski in DC Kevin Fleming August 20, 2013 Entertainment, Radio News To just about no one’s surprise, Frank Ski has made his move to PM Drive at WHUR-Washington DC, as the winner of the station’s “Big Move” DJ contest. The Harlem native left WVEE-Atlanta’s V-103 radio station last year after 14 years at the station when they couldn’t come to an agreement. Now Frank is back in play in the nation’s capital. Howard University Radio Network General Manager Jim Watkins says the news is exciting for WHUR and Washington’s radio listeners. “We are thrilled to welcome Frank to the WHUR family and we look forward to him bringing his love for radio and the community to the Washington region.” Frank Ski had a lot to celebrate and dropped hints this past weekend on Twitter. Frank Ski has signed on to host a new syndicated afternoon radio show that he will anchor from Atlanta and Washington. He will make his debut on September 9th. Related
