A Star for Barry White

The iconic Barry White is being honored with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on what would have been his 69^th birthday, Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 11:30 am. The star will be placed at 6914 Hollywood Boulevard (in front of the H&M Store), in Hollywood. All are welcome to come see the Hollywood Walk of Fame presentation for Barry White.

Barry White was overweight for most of his adult life, and as such, suffered from various health problems in his final years including high blood pressure, diabetes, kidney failure and eventually a stroke.  Barry died on the morning of July 4, 2003, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, after suffering from total renal failure.
