In The Mix with WBLS-NY

New Yorkers recently came out in droves for the WBLS Mix-Master DJ Battle at the Harlem In the City Day. Judged by legendary WBLS DJ’s, Marly Marl and Bent Rock, DJ’s from around the country battled to win their spot as a WBLS Mix-master DJ Labor Day Weekend. The winners… It was a tie Between DJ Ran of Newark and DJ Preme of Queens. So both won a spot on New York’s Number 1 Source for R&B WBLS 107.5. The event included a performance by actresses from the hit Broadway play “Motown The Musical” as we paid tribute to the legacy of Motown and we closed out the day with on the WBLS R&B Stage with performances by TGT and Michelle Williams.
