Boogie D. The “D” Stands for Detroit!

Jowcol “Boogie D” Dolby, OM/PD of WHHL (Hot 104.1) and Classic Hip Hop WFUN (95.5 The Lou)/St. Louis, has been awarded OM stripes for the company’s Detroit properties — Urban WGPR (Hot 107.5), Urban AC WDMK (105.9 Kiss FM), WDMK-HD2/W260CB (Soul 99.9) and Inspirational WPZR (Praise 102.7).

In making the official announcement, Kathy Stinehour, VP/GM of Radio One Detroit said, “We are pleased to have Jowcol taking on Operations Manager responsibility in Detroit. His depth of experience and vision for our brands will bring a fresh perspective to our programming team. I am also pleased to promote Fawn Connelly (a.k.a. Fantasee Blu on WDMK) and Arthur Willis (a.k.a A+ on WGPR) to Assistant Program Directors. They deserve the additional responsibility and will make excellent Program Directors in the future.”
