Lil Wayne gets funding from Sound Royalties

Rapper Lil Wayne is refusing to allow his career to halt despite corporate troubles. The artist, who’s locked in a legal dispute with Universal Music Group and Cash Money, has received funding from Sound Royalties, which advances artists money for their future performance royalties, while leaving ownership of copyrights with the creator.
