‘KC Master-Payne’: Al Payne joins KMJK-Kansas City

Radio vet, Al Payne joins Cumulus as the new PD of Urban KMJK-Kansas City’s Magic 107.3. Payne most recently programmed Beasley Throwback WMGC (105.1 The Bounce)/Detroit. Before that he was Director of Urban Programming for Alpha Media in Louisville. Payne’s lengthy career also includes an 11-year run with Radio One, the last six as OM of WERQ & WWIN/Baltimore. Other programming department stops include WKYS/Washington; WDMK & WHTD/Detroit; WCDX & WKJS/Richmond, VA; KRNB/Dallas; WQMG/Greensboro and WMNX/Wilmington, NC.
