Jay-Z to present City of Hope honor to Big Jon Platt

Jay-Z will present the City of Hope Spirit Of Life Award to Warner/Chappell Chairman & CEO Jon Platt at a ceremony hosted by Pharrell Williams in Los Angeles on October 11. Platt signed Jay-Z (and Beyoncé) to Warner/Chappell weeks after he joined the publisher in 2012, and calls the artist “one of the most giving and genuine people I know”.
