In what is sure to be an unforgettable GRAMMY® moment, the Recording Academy will also honor Ms. Ross and celebrate her greatest musical accomplishments. Considered one of the most influential artists and greatest entertainers of all time, Ms. Ross has made a profound impact in the world of music. Considered a trailblazer in entertainment, she came to prominence as the leader The Supremes, the most successful female group of all time, followed by a global solo career. All told, Ms. Ross has charted an astounding 42 No.1 songs, released 91 singles and 59 albums, and has chalked up more than 100 million sales and streams. In 2012, Ms. Ross was recognized by the Recording Academy as the recipient of the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. Live from Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles, and hosted by Alicia Keys, the 61st Annual Grammy Awards are happening Sunday, Feb. 10 at 8pm ET/5pm on CBS.
