KBLX-SF Hires Bay Area Veteran Broadcaster Celeste Perry

KBLX is thrilled to welcome veteran Bay Area broadcaster, Celeste Perry, to 102.9 KBLX as one of the station’s fill-in personalities.  Celeste is a 2014 inductee to the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame. Her voice is quite familiar to the Bay Area residents. She has worked for several Bay Area stations including KFRC, KSFO, and Bonneville SF’s sister stations KOIT and KFOX.

Operations & Program Director, Elroy Smith, states, “I have been a fan of Celeste Perry for quite some time. The timing is now right for her to join our team. Her warm, charismatic, classy, and engaging personality are perfect qualities for the KBLX brand.”  Perry goes on record to say: “Who could lure me out of my semi-retired from radio state-of-mind?  KBLX, that’s who!  I have long admired the talent, the music and their sincere commitment to community.
