Wilkins, music director for the legendary group is battling cancer. Anyone who has had to deal with this illness knows the financial burdens of treatment are heavy. As a musician, writer and producer, he has contributed a great deal to the Whispers as well as their legions of fans. The Whispers are standing by Grady and assisting with the cost of his treatment and now they are reaching out, asking for help from fans.
