While Smith was the program director of former radio station WILD AM 1090, Boston, talk show queen, Wendy Williams was a student at Northeastern University in Boston. She wanted to work for him as a DJ. but Smith decided not to hire her. On Friday, Elroy apologized to Wendy in front of a KBLX live audience. I thought that she was compelling at that time, which was in 1985. To date, I just do not remember why I rejected her.
