Z107.9 Cleveland adds WGPR-Detroit’s DJ Angel Baby for double-duty

Yonni Rude, Operations Manager of Radio One Cleveland announced that company veteran DJ AngelBaby will be the new midday personality on Urban WENZ (Z107.9)/Cleveland, beginning Monday, October 21. She will succeed Bijou Star, who, we are told, remains with Radio One Cleveland “in a new exciting role starting January 2020.” Details TBA.

DJ AngelBaby will continue to anchor her afternoon show on Urban sister WGPR (Hot 107.5)/Detroit and host Rap Attack, which is simulcast on WERQ (92Q)/Baltimore & WQOK (K97.5)/Raleigh. DJ AngelBaby is also a Violator All Star DJ and the official DJ for Detroit hip-hop artist Kash Doll. She’s a Howard University graduate and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta sorority.
