Tony Scott moves to PM Drive at 95.5 “The Lou” in St. Louis

Radio One Urban AC WFUN (95.5 The Lou)/St. Louis has promoted market fixture Tony Scott from weekends to afternoon drive. In making the big announcement of Scott’s upgrade, Nathan Dixon, Station Manager of Radio One St. Louis, said, “During these challenging times, Tony’s calming voice will be a major boost for the city of St. Louis.”

Scott is a known quantity, to put it mildly, in Gateway City radio circles — he notably spent 27 years in the market in various formats — 25 of those years in drive-time shifts with Clear Channel/iHeartMedia Urban KMJM and Urban AC KATZ-FM before relocating to Dallas, where he did afternoons at Service Urban AC KRNB. He has also worked in Detroit, San Francisco and Houston.

“We’re excited to have Tony takeover the afternoon drive,” said Derrick “Lil D” Greene, Operations Manager of Radio One St. Louis. “His experience, knowledge of the market, and proven winning track record will continue the growth of our radio station.” Scott can now be heard on 95.5 The Lou Monday through Saturday from 3-7pm.
