Republic Records promotes Michael Horton to EVP Kevin Fleming August 20, 2020 Entertainment, Music News Republic Records has promoted Michael Horton to executive vp, the label’s founder and CEO Monte Lipman announced Wednesday (Aug. 18). In his elevated role, Horton will continue overseeing promotional campaigns for the Republic and Island Records rosters at the hip hop and R&B format, including A-listers such as Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, The Weeknd and Post Malone, as well as emerging and breakthrough acts like Jacquees, Kiana Ledé and Pop Smoke.
