Sirius XM logoSirius XM announced that Jamila’s Jams, a new one-hour show hosted by MTV and BET personality  will air on the Volume channel beginning today.

Mustafa, an award-winning broadcast journalist and influential voice shaping the millennial generation, hosts this new program breaking down everything going on in pop culture right now.  From the biggest moments in music to the biggest influencers of our time, Jamila’s Jams will feature lively conversations about hip hop and its relevance in today’s world.  This weekly show featuring interviews with guests and interaction from listeners is the latest programming line up to join Sirius XM’s Volume (channel 106) and will air on Mondays at Noon ET.

“Pop culture, music, and the ability to express ourselves is the fuel that keeps this generation going! I’m ecstatic to be the first woman to host a pop culture and hip-hop show on Sirius XM’s Volume,” said Mustafa.

JamillahMustafa has hosted a variety of shows on radio and television including ESPN’s EBC At Rucker Park, BET’s BREAKSSound Bite, Pull Up, The Break Down, and Set Trippin, as well as MTV’s TRL. She is currently the host of MTV’s Fresh Out Live and a producer and host of MTV’s Sound Up on Snapchat. Mustafa has been named one of the Most Influential People of African Descent Under 40 by the United Nations.
