Cynthia “CJ” Johnson

Born in Chicago, CJ has a degree in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame. She is Vice President of Urban Promotion at Columbia Records/Sony Music Group. CJ is currently responsible for the radio development of: Beyonce, J. Cole, John Legend, Juicy J, Maxwell, Mary Mary, Raphael Saadiq and others. Her career includes Senior Vice President of Columbia Records where she worked with Mariah Carey, Nas, Destiny’s Child, Jagged Edge, Xscape, Bow Wow, and Maxwell.  As Senior Vice President of Warner Bros Records, CJ helped develop the careers of Eric Benet, Brian McKnight, Crime Mob, Lil Scrappy, Trillville.  And as National Promotion Director at Interscope she worked with 50 Cent, Robin Thicke, Keyshia Cole, and Keri Hilson.

Helping my Mom recuperate after bypass surgery and taking care of Peyton

In relationships, you have to love yourself completely
