Eliquate

Well we hope it’s not too late to wish everybody a happy Thanksgiving. The Indie Buzz is thankful that this week we’re bringing it back to the west coast with the Santa Cruz hip-hop band Eliquate. If you like nice flows over some bomb live instrumentation, you’ve come to the right place. Picture Macklemore backed by the roots and you get this stellar concoction. As far as modern independent hip-hop goes, Eliquate represents the coast to the fullest. Their 2010 album Arch Rhythem is available for free download on soundcloud at  https://soundcloud.com/eliquate. Also check their soundcloud for their 2013 album A Chalkboards War Against Erasers. Members of Eliquate have played shows with indie-hip hop legends such as Zion-I, Murs, and Souls of Mischief just to name a few, so get familiar.
