Keith Sweat Soul Train Award

Keith Sweat, R&B legend, singer/songwriter/producer and host of the Premiere Networks syndicated evening radio show The Sweat Hotel, was recently honored with the “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the 2013 Soul Train Awards.

During the award show, which aired simultaneously Sunday night (12/1) on Centric and BET, Sweat took the stage to perform a medley of his greatest hits including “Nobody,” “I Want Her,” “Don’t Stop Your Love,” and a special rendition of “Make It Last Forever” with Faith Evans.  While accepting the award honoring his nearly three-decades-long career in music, Sweat thanked the legendary Gerald Lavert for teaching him how to be a true entertainer and Doc Wynter, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment SVP of Urban Programming, for the chance to host his national radio program.  He also jokingly thanked all those who “made babies” to his music.
