Jay Blaze to PD WIKS

Beasley Broadcast/Eastern North Carolina promotes Jay Blaze to Program Director and afternoon host (2-7pm) of WIKS-FM (101.9 Kiss FM)/Greenville-New Bern, effective February 1. Blaze joined WIKS in 2009, and was most recently the Hip Hop outlet’s acting Program Director and evening personality. He previously served as Program Director and afternoon host at WWLD-FM/Tallahassee, FL.

Blaze said, “Radio is about having fun and conveying that fun to your listeners When I arrived at 101.9 WIKS and in Eastern NC in 2009, I knew I had found a special place. It’s a loyal community filled with people who really care about each other. On top of that the ENC has great southern food and it’s right near the beach.”
