Raise 4 Praise

This past Thursday, Radio One Atlanta’s Praise 102.5 participated in the 2014 Radio Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon.” Their dedicated listeners stepped up with donations to raise $249,994 during the four hour event.  Over the last seven years, Radio One Atlanta’s efforts have raised over $2 million dollars for. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. That’s a true example of community service and another home run for D. Harp and the “Praise Team!”

The primary mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures and means of prevention for catastrophic pediatric diseases through research and treatment. They proudly boast an 80% pediatric cancer survival rate. At St. Jude, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay. Donations are accepted 27/7 at www.StJude.org.
