Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Philadelphia’s Power 99 FM, WDAS FM and Smooth Jazz 1480 AM announced today that they are teaming up with the Penn Relays, the historic track and field competition, on April 24-26, 2014.  WDAS FM will be on site and Power 99 FM’s weekday host, Cappuchino, will broadcast live from Franklin Field (235 South 33rd Street Philadelphia PA 19104) on Saturday April 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The 120th Penn Relays will be held at Franklin Field (33rd and South Street).  Saturday’s activities will include the USA vs. the World events, the annual competitions between the best track athletes in the United States against athletes from around the world.  Power 99 FM’s sports reporter, Eddie F, will present awards to the winners of the Saturday races.
