Former label exec turned “music-preneur” Shanti Das did not disappoint R&B music fans with this months’ edition of ATL Live on The Park. In conjunction with ASCAP, the “Ladies Night” featured a variety of female vocalists/songwriters and producers. Actress/ singer Demetria McKinney, best known for her role in Tyler Perry’s House of Payne treated the audience to new music from an upcoming project.

ATL Live mst logoWhile you may not the name, Crystal Nicole, please remember you heard it from me. She’s a multi-Grammy award winning songwriter of some of R&B’s biggest hits, such as MJB’s 25/8, J-Hud’s “I Got This” and the list goes on. She’s already a polished performer who know the art of commanding the stage.  Her transition from the behind the scenes to the foreground will not be a challenge at all. R&B Divas Atlanta, KeKe Wyatt performed as only she can. She may “act” a bit koo-koo, but she sings the roof off! Other notables in attendance: singer Anthony David, Meelah Williams and LaTavia Roberson(R&B Divas), Atlantic Records Cannon Kent, WHTA-PD, Hurricane Dave Smith, Da Brat and Bryan Michael Cox. The pride of Columbus,Georgia (and all true man) Joe brought the house down and closed out the evening with his classic hits, “I Wanna Know” and “All The Things Your Man Won’t Do.”
