The Urban Buzz sends heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and fans of Bobby Womack,one of the last true soul singers. Bobby made his transition at the age of 70. Bobby Womack is a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He wrote hit songs such as “Lookin’ For a Love”, “If You Think You’re Lonely Now”, “Woman’s Gotta Have It” and many others. He had 40 songs that charted on Billboards top Rhythm & Blues chart and 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 “pop music” chart. Bobby had suffered from a variety of health challenges including diabetes, colon cancer, and early stages of Alzheimer’s disease. “The Poet” was 70 years old. He will truly be missed.
