Usher’s New Look Raises $1 Million

The “Who’s Who” of Georgia politicos, entrepreneurs and corporate heavyweights along with boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard, (who Usher portrays in an upcoming biopic), Tony® Award winner Kenny Leon and producer Jermaine Dupri were among over 400+ attendees at the 15^th Anniversary of Usher’s New Look Foundation’s President’s Circle Awards luncheon in Atlanta. Rapper/Actor Ludacris hosted the event and Usher’s mentee, Josh Kaufman, Season 6 winner of “The Voice,” provided entertainment to a captive audience.   An auction was held during the ceremony, raising more than $98,000 for the organization. The usual “pomp and circumstance” that accompanies this type of ceremony was clearly in the room, but the reason for it all was warranted. An auction held during the event, brought in close to $100,000 contributing to the grand total of $1 million raised to benefit Usher’s New Look Foundation.
