WXST Star 99 Crumbley adds”I embrace this opportunity with Apex Broadcasting that allows me to continue what I’ve done successfully throughout my career. The company vision and the autonomy they’ve permitted me is more than refreshing, it fuels my passion to compete and win to the highest level.”

I meant Steve Crumberly when he was PD at WVOL in Nashville a few years ago while I was on WLAC. Steve was professional then and now. Congratulations for his stay power in the industry.

By the way,Beyonce’s dad, Matthew Knowles who just celebrated his birthday last week, was attending Fisk University and started his career while on the Fisk radio station WFSK-fm around the same time. Also David Lombard was there and went on to managed En Vogue and others. The 70’s were a great time in Nashville, TN

    Happy New Year,
