Super Bowl 2015 Performers

Idina Menzel will sing the National Anthem and John Legend will sing “America The Beautiful” as part of Super Bowl XLIX pregame festivities at University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona on Sunday, February 1, the NFL and NBC has announced. The performances will be televised live on NBC prior to kickoff. Katy Perry is the featured Half-time artist with special guest Lenny Kravitz.

Missy Elliott will be a surprise guest during Katy Perry’s Super Bowl halftime show.

That’s what a source tells the Associated Press. The person, who’s familiar with the plans, asked not to be named because Elliot’s role hasn’t been announced yet by the NFL.

Elliott was featured on a remix of Perry’s song “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” in 2011. At a news conference yesterday, Perry said the show would include an “old school” female singer.
